hair replacement

If you are planning on purchasing a hair replacement system, you need to also factor into the costs of any other items you may well need to purchase as well, especially if you intend to take care of your hair replacement yourself. Recently, with the advent of being able to purchase just about anything on line, the whole hair replacement industry shifted to include more self-care options. Previously, if you bought a hair replacement system it usually meant your traveling to a clinic to have your hair replacement washed and styled but that is no longer necessarily the case.

There are quite a few different types of systems to choose from these days. The older, more conventional system that uses a nylon base and has polyurethane coated perimeters are the least expensive. They are also the least natural looking of all systems. On a positive note, they are also very durable, long lasting and often don’t need to be replaced more than once a year.

Mens Hair Replacement Systems

If your budget will allow it, I would suggest looking into the more natural looking systems, such as the second skin membrane system. This gives you a very natural look as the individual strands of hair are actually tied or looped through a very thin co-polymer membrane and it’s often hard to tell the difference between this and a real head of hair. Unfortunately not only do these systems cost a little more, but they aren’t as hardy either, and usually need to be replaced a few times each year. But when it comes to mens hair replacement systems, this is definitely better and more natural looking than the older type.

The most natural looking system of all is the lace hair replacement system. It is virtually impossible to tell the difference between this hair replacement system and real hair as the hair actually looks to be growing out of the scalp when in fact it is really only just knotted into the lace. This is particularly useful in male hair replacement systems used to cover front section of the scalp and the hairline. Because of this, many people tend to favor this type of hair replacement system over others. It is also healthier for the scalp as it allows your skin to breathe and it is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. As with the second skin membrane system, you also need to replace this a few times each year, depending on how often you wear it. The more you wear it, the more often it needs to be replaced.

If you are able to afford the cost, I would suggest going with the lace hair replacement system as not only does it look the best and the most natural, but it is also by far the most comfortable to wear. While cost is important, comfort is also important particularly if you are planning on wearing your hair replacement system often.
